50 Years of Memories
It is 50 years today that Brian and I had our first date at the Saturday Easter Regatta Yacht Race dinner at the Point Yacht Club in Durban South Africa. The only reason we are so sure of the date is that Brian's mother obvioulsy was a keen "scrapbooker" as we found a newspaper cutting of Brian and his father racing the Graduate yacht that they built. After the race Brian and I went to the dinner and the rest is history. The photo shows various yachts racing and Brian and his Dad are on the right hand side of the photo with the number G40 on the sail. They finished second which as a good result.
It is also going to be 47 years on Tuesday 20th April 2010 that we will have been married so this is a special time in our lives. Enjoy the two photos.

Thank you sweetheart, life sets many challengers for us during our lifetime, but as you know if you have your soulmate with you you can rise above everything. We love you all very much.
How awesome! Well done Mom and Dad on making it so far. I know you will be away on your Anniversary (hopefully seeing some sun), so have an absolutely awesome time together an Happy Anniversary.
Thank you Ian for your good wishes, we are looking forward to our holiday and never mind the weather, as long as we are together, ----- we are off to see the wild west show.
